The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On the Status and Social Protection of Citizens-Victims of Chornobyl Disaster" (re Enhancement of Social Protection) as a Basis

Pursuant to the Bill (Reg. No.3239), the benefits granted to the citizens-victims of Chornobyl disaster of the first category that presupposed the priority provision of a place in the pre-school education establishments for their children, shall be extended onto the secondary education establishments, and the right of priority accession to the municipal higher education establishments.
